Privacy, Security and Hypoxia 2009

We promise to do everything we can to protect your privacy and the security of your transactions on our sites.

Steps we have taken to ensure your personal information is safe with Hypoxia include:

  • We do not distribute names, emails and addresses. The only exceptions are when a closely affilliated group requests email addresses. Th eorganizers consider rach request on a case by case basis; such mailings average one or two per year.

  • Your contact information and credit card information are stored in an encrypted offline data base. Even if someone stole the database they could not use it without the correct username and password. The encryption we use is essentially unbreakable.  
                 
  • Our technology partners, SPLTrak and Verisign/Paypal are also extremely security conscious. See the respective web sites for more information.               

We intend that these procedures will allow you to participate fully in the electronic world of Hypoxia 2009.
