Hypoxia 2009: Dates, Deadlines and Fees

 

Overall Schedule

The 16th International Hypoxia Symposium begins with a reception on the evening of Tuesday, March 10th at the Chateau Lake Louise. The scientific program begins at 0800h on Wednesday, March 11th and continues through Saturday, March 14th. The daily schedule is the same for the four days of the meeting: scientific sessions from 0800 to 1130h, followed by a ski break from 1130 to 1600h. Scientific sessions continue every afternoon from 1600 to 1830h. The Symposium closing banquet and dance begin at 2000h on Saturday, March 14th. Because of travel times and winter weather, most delegates arrive on Tuesday and plan to leave on Sunday, March 15th .

Abstracts

Abstracts must be submitted by midnight Mountain Standard Time, 1 December 2008. Late abstracts will be accepted with paid registration until February 1, 2009. For more information click here.

Registration

Registration is available up to the start of the meeting on 10 March 2009, and daily registration is available onsite. Early registration closes on 1 December 2008. For complete information click here.

Fees

Delegates registering by 1 December 2008 will pay $650 US, and for students $350. After 1 December 2008, those prices increase to $800 and $450, respectively. Students and fellows need to fax a letter of support (Click here for more info)
